Public Services Caribbean Netherlands Gaining More Recognition
The Caribbean Netherlands Public Services programme is committed to improving government services. This is done from the perspective of citizens and entrepreneurs.
How can we ensure that everyone can participate in the digital age? How can we guarantee that public services remain accessible to all, including those with complex queries that cannot be easily resolved, or individuals who struggle with digital channels?
Within the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK), the Services Department is dedicated to ensuring that government services are personal, accessible, and reliable. This can be achieved only by addressing the concept of 1-government perception: collaborating with public service providers and private partners dedicated to public missions. After all, they are the ones assisting people every day. The Services Department directs, coordinates, facilitates, shares knowledge, and ensures that collective goals are achieved. In collaboration with public service providers, priorities for government-wide service delivery are established, and actions are planned. Currently, the following 6 processes are in progress to this end:
