SBR (Standard Business Reporting) is the national standard for digital exchange of all business reports. Using SBR, companies document the data in their financial administration once, in a standardized manner, and can then re-use these data for several reports and statements for governmental organisations and a number of banks. This is possible, because the company’s administration is the source document. One push of the button creates statements and sends them out digitally to several parties. This way, there is less work involved in compiling and filing several (legally required) statements and reports for governmental and other organisations, companies, institutions, and intermediairies.
