The new RijksAppStore features all apps from the Central Government for and by government employees. This government-wide platform is an initiative by the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) and replaces the current app portals of the ICT Implementation Service (DICTU) and the Shared Service Centre (SSC-ICT).
User-friendly and future-proof
The RijksAppStore includes public apps visible and downloadable by everyone, such as the Message Box (in Dutch, Berichtenbox), Communities Rijksoverheid, and DigiD. The platform also hosts unlisted apps, accessible only via a download link. The development of this new platform has focused significantly on user convenience and future-proofing. For instance, you can now search by name, filter by platform, and display different apps by ministry.
The apps in the RijksAppStore can be installed on both managed and unmanaged devices. Visit the platform at www.rijksappstore.nl.
Collaboration
The platform was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of BZK, DICTU, SSC-ICT, and the Tax Administration. The Web & App Services team at DICTU built the RijksAppStore and is responsible for its daily management. If you have any questions about the platform, please send an email to rijksoverheidsapp@dictu.nl.
