Citizens and businesses in Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba (Dutch Caribbean) must be able to benefit from the opportunities of values-driven digitalisation and mitigate risks. This is not yet the case. That is why we are strengthening the government’s digital services, improving infrastructure and increasing the knowledge and skills of citizens and businesses. Similarly, we are working with Aruba, Curaçao and St Maarten. There are similar issues there that we are solving together.
To prepare the Dutch Caribbean, this track of the Work Agenda focuses on:
Digital maturity
Be digitally mature so that everyone in the Dutch Caribbean has access to sufficient knowledge, services and facilities to fully benefit from opportunities and adequately mitigate risks.
Collaborate on the digital foundation
Collaborate on the digital foundation with the society, business community and government of Aruba, Curaçao and St Maarten to ensure that they are adequately equipped.
