The Coalition agreement states that citizens’ personal data in key registers and other privacy-sensitive information must always be stored encrypted. For the Key register Persons, research into how effective the current security measures are in offering protection against possible security risks will be the first step.
Aim of the research is to:
- Make clear where the key register Persons’ data can be found;
- How this data is protected;
- If there are new risks, which risks are insufficiently covered, and which appropriate measures can be taken.
The research results will address the viability and the reasonable proportion to the nature and size of the measures.
