The European Commission has launched a public consultation to gather input on the implementation of the AI Act (Artificial Intelligence), particularly concerning high-risk AI systems.
Through the consultation, the European Commission aims to gather practical examples and clarify ambiguities surrounding these AI systems. The input will be used to draft future guidelines.

The AI Regulation identifies two categories of high-risk AI systems, specifically:
- When it comes to product safety under European legislation.
- When it pertains to people’s health, safety, and fundamental rights.
