Ensuring accessibility
We add new content to the website on an (almost) daily basis and carry out technical changes regularly. Therefore, we have taken a few steps to ensure the website remains accessible:
- Site manual: We operate a guidebook describing how we place content on the site.
- Staff training: Our editors have been trained in the field of digital accessibility.
- Testing: We regularly test the website for accessibility using various tools. Moreover, the website is tested annually by an independent expert.
- Web developers must also enforce compliance: Any modification to the website executed by our web agency has to comply with the WCAG criteria. Any new web developer is required to have verifiable experience with enforcing accessibility rules.
- Problem-solving: We aim to modify inaccessible content as quickly as possible.
