The Dutch government has published a new brochure on the Cyber Security Act (Cbw), which implements the European NIS2 Directive into Dutch law. The Act is expected to come into force in the second quarter of 2026.
This brochure helps Dutch organisations prepare for the new legislation by outlining their rights and forthcoming obligations. It also explains which sectors will be affected, the measures organisations can take, and the support available from the government.
If you would like more information, you can download the full brochure on the NCTV website (Dutch).
Additional background and updates on NIS2 can be found on our Dutch NIS2 topic page or the European Commission’s website.
