Government organisations now have 2 additional practical tools to help improve digital accessibility. MijnDigiToegankelijk provides clearer guidance on accessibility requirements for websites and apps. NLdoc is an open-source tool for improving documents.
The DigiToegankelijk Dashboard (Dutch) has been expanded with MijnDigiToegankelijk. In this secure environment, the accessibility status of your websites and mobile applications is immediately visible at a glance, along with the actions still required to meet legal requirements. As such, it is a practical tool for monitoring and improving digital accessibility. Users of the dashboard will automatically gain access to MijnDigiToegankelijk in 2026.
NLdoc
NLdoc helps enhance documents, such as PDFs and Word files, in accordance with WCAG guidelines. Organisations can download NLdoc from GitLab and use it within their own environment. The tool provides APIs for integration into existing systems and includes an editor for editing and checking documents. It also supports converting documents into accessible files for publication on digital channels. Throughout 2026, all organisations in the Dashboard DigiToegankelijk will automatically gain access to MijnDigiToegankelijk. You do not need to do anything for this. If you cannot wait and want to get started immediately, you can: Send your request for access to digitoegankelijk@logius.nl.
