To remain resilient against digital threats, a blueprint has been developed to establish the Cyber Resilience Network (CWN). This blueprint was created by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in collaboration with public and private organisations.
In the CWN, organisations share knowledge, expertise, and experience. The goal is to collaborate on challenges that strengthen the cyber resilience of all organisations in the Netherlands. This provides a stronger foundation for improving digital resilience.
The blueprint
The blueprint provides clear frameworks, choices, and priorities for developing the CWN. Regular reviews will determine what is required to further expand the VWN into a successful and relevant network.
This blueprint builds on the Cyber Resilience Network future vision (NCTV; Dutch) and in accordance with the Dutch Cybersecurity Strategy 2022–2028 (NCTV). The future vision outlines five key functions:
- information sharing
- target and victim notification
- incident response
- knowledge exchange
- education, training, and practice
The blueprint sets out concrete goals for each function, with activities and conditions required to achieve them. The future vision outlines the direction; the blueprint is both the compass and the roadmap essential to steer in that direction. You can find the blueprint (Dutch) on the NCSC website.
