What would you do if the power went out, the internet went down or you suddenly couldn’t get to the office? Would your colleagues know what to do? These questions take centre stage during the government-wide Think Ahead Week, 2–6 November 2026. As part of the wider Think Ahead campaign, staff across government are encouraged to reflect on their resilience.
The Think Ahead Week is an opportunity to diiscuss emergency preparedness with colleagues and agree on what to do if things go wrong. It is part of the national Think Ahead campaign, which aims to prove that getting prepared doesn’t have to be very complicated.
Think Ahead for civil servants
During Think Ahead Week, civil servants can attend an online lunch webinar every working day at 12:00. Topics include current threats, disinformation, and espionage.
Do you work for a safety region, municipality or other public organisation and would you like to raise awareness of resilience in your department? Use the information for organisations or the Think Ahead toolkit (Dutch). You will find ready-made posters, visuals and social media messages there.
