The Netherlands’ Digitalisation Strategy (NDS) aims to draw on the digital sector’s expertise to address the country’s core digitalisation challenges. As a result, the NDS seeks closer collaboration with industry associations in the digital sector.
Recent discussions with trade bodies have centred on how to shape this collaboration in a practical way. The aim is to enable all relevant associations to contribute on an equal footing.
Call for sector feedback
In the coming period, stakeholders working on the NDS will ask industry associations to evaluate NDS products and services and provide feedback. They will start with topics covered by the AI, including digital resilience and autonomy, and cloud priorities.

Participating organisations will regularly receive requests to provide feedback on NDS products and services from their sector’s perspective, helping achieve the strategy’s objectives.
