Share Your Views on the Rules for High-Risk AI Systems

AI Systems 13 June 2025

The European Commission has launched a public consultation to gather input on the implementation of the AI Act (Artificial Intelligence), particularly concerning high-risk AI systems.

Through the consultation, the European Commission aims to gather practical examples and clarify ambiguities surrounding these AI systems. The input will be used to draft future guidelines.

2 types of high-risk AI systems

The AI Regulation identifies two categories of high-risk AI systems, specifically:

  • When it comes to product safety under European legislation.
  • When it pertains to people’s health, safety, and fundamental rights.

Share your views

The European Commission invites everyone to share their views, including developers and providers of AI, organisations that use AI, researchers, regulators, and citizens. Would you also like to share your opinions on the rules for high-risk AI systems? You can submit feedback until 18 July 2025 via the European Commission website.
