The Public Entity Saba launched its updated government website on July 22, 2024. This effort is a collaboration between the local and national governments, to ensure a well-functioning digital government system and enhance digital infrastructure and services.
Part of a greater whole
This project is not meant to be exceptional on its own. Instead, it aligns with the objectives set out in the Saba Package Agreement (2023 – 2027) to enhance digitalization and professionalize government services. It is also one of the initiatives outlined in the Value-Driven Digitalisation Work Agenda. One aspect of this agenda focuses on strengthening the digital society in the Dutch Caribbean.
Foundation for future developments
Jonathan Johnson, Island Governor of Saba, says about the launch of the updated website: “It is a significant milestone in our digitalization efforts. It presents our dedication to improving government services and making them more accessible to our citizens.”
As Saba continues to advance its digitalization goals, the updated website serves as a foundation for future developments in digital government services.
