The Digital Government Act (Wet digitale overheid, Wdo) requires public services to provide more reliable access to sensitive data, such as healthcare information. Citizens and entrepreneurs can log in using DigiD, eHerkenning, or other approved authentication methods. This promotes user choice and reduces reliance on a single login channel.
Connecting to the Access Framework, or Stelsel Toegang in Dutch, allows government organisations to reliably access all approved login methods, as well as authorisation and representation services. More details about the Access Framework are available on this page.
