Privacy and data protection are fundamental rights. These rights give people greater control over their private lives and personal data. Citizens and civil servants must be able to trust that (government) organisations process personal data lawfully and accurately.
To support this, the privacy team of both CIO Rijk (Chief Information Officer of the Dutch Government) and Digitalisation Policy has developed various tools. These include frameworks for conducting a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), a digital support tool, and knowledge events, webinars, and training sessions.
