In the Digitalisation Collective Letter sent to the chamber this week, State Secretary for Digitalisation and Kingdom Relations Zsolt Szabó outlines, among other things, the priorities of the Dutch Digitalisation Strategy (abbreviated NDS in Dutch). These topics will be the main focal points in the field of digitalisation.
7 priorities for the NDS
The government aims to deploy digital technology responsibly and to provide good services to citizens and entrepreneurs. To facilitate these efforts, it is necessary for Central Government, municipalities, provinces, water authorities and public service agencies to work closely together. The aforementioned parties have committed to working together as 1 Government on the 7 priorities listed below. Over the next few weeks, these priorities will be further developed collaboratively in the new NDS.
Joint ambitions are:
- Sound government services for citizens and entrepreneurs;
- Government strengthening its digital resilience and digital autonomy.
Strengthening the organisation by:
- Political-administrative governance and more efficient collaboration as 1 Government;
- Digital workmanship.
More specifically, it will be exploring these digital applications:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI);
- Data;
- Cloud.
