eIDAS (Wallets)
From September 2018, European citizens and businesses must be able to access Dutch public services using their own login methods.
The EUDI Wallet
By the end of 2026, Dutch citizens and entrepreneurs will have (at least) one ID-wallet recognised by the Dutch government under the revised eIDAS regulation.
DigiD
DigiD stands for Digital Identity and enables individuals to authenticate their identity when dealing with government organisations.
