As government organisations become more digital, enhancing cybersecurity and raising citizen awareness grow more crucial. Today, digital vulnerabilities and threats are widespread. What steps should a government take to respond effectively? How can it prepare adequately? The Dutch government is adopting various measures to strengthen cybersecurity defences.
ENSIA, the unified norm for the Single Information Audit, is a joint initiative of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the former Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, and the Association of Dutch Municipalities, VNG.
The Baseline Information Security Government (BIO in Dutch) is the basic standards framework for information security within all tiers of government.
